Italian cuisine is among the most popular in the world for the combination of its unique flavors and its simplicity in preparation.
The ingredients used are the most common and easy to find, since the history of the Italian peninsula is characterized by extreme poverty that lasts until the late 50s of the last century.
This also implies that Italians do not eat only pasta or pizza: the coasts and mountains of the peninsula offer many dishes based on fresh and incredible meat, fish and vegetables.
It is then a simple cuisine, without too many sauces or elaborate dressings and based on the freshness and genuineness of its ingredients. Simple yes, rigorous too. In the process of preparing a good pasta dish, for example, there are steps that cannot be omitted, such as saving a little cooking water to make the starch contained in the water join the sauce. (il sugo) that you have prepared with the pasta and give your plate a silkier texture.

A typical first dish of the cuisine of northern Italy, very rich and nutritious. Made with arborio or carnaroli rice, Italian sausage and homemade vegetable broth, it is one of the most popular risotto versions in Italy.
