No matter the job you do, improving your speaking skills in a second or third language is fundamental in each field. The aim of these two-hour workshops is to recreate some situations we would encounter in real life. And to have fun!

Get ready for the perfect job interview
Are you considering the opportunity to do a work experience abroad or do you feel the desire for a change and move to work outside of your country? This workshop is made for you and those who are preparing to face a job interview wherever you want.
Vocabulary: talking about jobs, describing the interview process, and presenting one’s skills and qualities.
Speaking practice: job interview role-play.
Prepare a dazzling CV
Preparing a perfect CV is not an easy task. And things get complicated when we are preparing for a job offer in another country. We need to consider both language and cultural differences. In this workshop we will help you to highlight your right qualities to access a job interview in Italy or a Spanish speaking Country.
Vocabulary: analyzing the different parts of a CV.
Writing practice: drafting one’s CV.
Speaking practice: describing one’s education and working experiences.
Write effective e-mails
E-mailing represents a powerful tool, if used well. In this workshop you will learn how to structure the different sections that a specific-purpose-email should have. Practical activities will be carried out to improve your formal written expression and to learn how to use the correct formulas for each occasion.
Vocabulary: difference between informal and formal e-mails.
Writing practice: analyzing the structure of a message and creating different drafts.
Break the ice and make small talk
Small talk is a type of informal speech that represents a bonding ritual and a strategy to manage interpersonal distance. Its function is to help define the relationships between friends, colleagues and new acquaintances. In particular, it helps new acquaintances to explore and categorize the social position of others.
Vocabulary: topics “safe for work”.
Speaking practice: small talk role-play.
Successfully advertise a product or a service
Do you want to launch your product in a foreign Country? Do you want to offer your service beyond
the borders of your homeland? Or do you just want to improve your skills to promote yourself
abroad? This workshop is designed for you and for those companies, freelancers or people interested in expanding their commercial and professional horizons in the world of advertising.

Writing practice: creating an advert for print or media.
