These academic courses are designed with a reduced number of students (maximum 6) and are aimed at those students who want to take advantage of a group class experience, with all the advantages that this entails.
The academic courses that we offer are developed in a 2-hours weekly meeting, usually at times to be agreed.
As the number of students per course is small, to give you maximum quality and comfort, it will be possible to set the schedule according to the preferences of the students.
Below we offer you our proposals divided by level.

At Kaleido Languages we rely on the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) to design our courses. For courses in the USA, we rely on ACTFL(American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages).

At Kaleido Languages we rely on the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) to design our courses. For courses in USA, we rely on ACTFL(American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages).
The CEFR establishes 6 levels of certifiable linguistic competence, ranging from A1 (the most basic) to C2 (the highest level). we have designed these courses also integrating them with ACTFL. According to the contents of each level indicated in the CEFR, for the languages that we propose in Kaleido Languages, around 180 hours of study are needed to pass from one level to another.
Only the initial courses marked A1 can be obtained in about 130 hours (if you want to know more about how many hours it takes to learn a language, read our blog)
At Kaleido Language, we have designed courses that accelerate learning, thanks to the reduced number of students in the classroom and with the help of easy-to-use and accessible technological tools, making it possible to carry out courses with a reduced number of hours.

At the end of this course, the student will be able to understand and use familiar expressions of everyday use and very common formulas to satisfy specific needs.

At the end of this course, the student will be able to understand phrases and expressions of recurrent use related to communicative areas of immediate relevance (for example, basic information about the person and the family, shopping, local geography, work).
A2 – ELEMENTARY (60 hours)

At the end of this course, the student will be able to understand the essential points of a speech, provided that a clear and standard language is used and topics related to work, training, free time, etc. are dealt with.
B1 – THRESHOLD (60 hours)

At the end of this course, the student will be able to understand the essential points of a speech, provided that a clear and standard language is used and topics related to work, training, free time, etc.
B2 – ADVANCED (60 hours)

At the end of this course, the student will be able to understand a wide range of complex and fairly long texts and can derive their implicit meaning. They express themselves fluently and spontaneously, without too much effort to search for words.
C1 – EFFICIENCY (60 hours)

At the end of this course, students can understand and use familiar expressions of daily use and quite common formulas to satisfy specific needs. They can introduce themselves and others and can ask questions about personal data and answer similar questions.
SPANISH A1 – INITIAL (60 hours)

They can communicate in simple and routine activities that require a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and common topics. They can specifically describe aspects of their past and their environment and have notions that pertain to immediate needs.

They can communicate with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that allows normal interaction with those who speak their mother tongue, without creating tension on both sides.
B1 – PRE – INTERMEDIATE (60 hours)

At the end of this course, students can understand the essential content of complex texts on abstract and concrete topics and are able to understand a specialized talk related to their profession. They can communicate with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that allows normal interaction with those who speak their mother tongue, without creating tension on both sides. They can express themselves clearly and in detail on a wide range of topics and explain a point of view on a problem giving the advantages and disadvantages of different scenarios.
B2 – UPPER INTERMEDIATE (60 hours)
