Foreign languages tests
Universities usually organize internal examinations for candidates and, alternatively, accept the following official certificates:
- English: Cambridge University, APTIS, IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC, andTrinity College
- Italian: CILS, CELI, Plida
- Spanish: DELE Cervantes

What language level do I need to get an Erasmus scholarship?
In the following paragraphs, we will see which level of English, Italian and Spanish is required to obtain an Erasmus scholarship.
As we all know, after the United Kingdom’s exit from the European Community (Brexit), once the current Erasmus programs are over, there will be no more Erasmus in the United Kingdom. What is certain is that there will be alternative exchange programs that will replace the Erasmus program, such as Turing exchange program. English:
Regarding other European countries that requiring an English certification, such as Germany, it should be noted that the minimum English language requirement is no longer B2 as it was until recently, but a B1 can also be accepted. What is important to remember is that the candidate who demonstrates a higher level of English will win the scholarship. So, roll up your sleeves and start learning right away.
Italian:
for Erasmus programs in Italy, a B1 level of Italian is usually required. Some universities accept a certificate of achievement with a final exam such as the one issued by Kaleido Languages. Spanish:
to go on Erasmus in Spain, a Spanish B1 certificate will also be sufficient. As in other cases, the higher the level, the more opportunities you will have to get your Erasmus scholarship and go to Spain.
